Godmanchester County Primary School Photos - Godmanchester

The children were about to go on a trip to Wicksteed Park as part of the Summer Play Scheme which was run at the school during the holidays. Sadly Louise (Image 22) died at the age of 19 whilst training to be a nurse at St Mary's Hospital, London. Her funera was held at St Mary's Church, Godmanchester and was attended by school friends, members of the local Police Force, her fellow student nurses and members of the local Fire Brigade as her father was Station Officer.
