"Children of Godmanchester recently presented a full length two act operetta "Flax Into Gold" based on the popular story of Rumpelstiltskin. Godmanchester Primary School already famed for their progressive attitudes, such as teaching French to infants, has now branched out into the theatrical field with great success. The children gave two performances of the operetta to packed audiences in the school hall.
