On Friday, March 27th l987 the School was officially reopened by Lord Renton. £70,000 and many years of planning and re-planning has created an excellent facility for the community comprising of 2 community halls with modern toilet and kitchen facilities. The transformation has to be seen to be believed, however, the exterior remains as old and wrinkled as ever.

During Gala Week, there is to be an exhibition of local Arts and Crafts (15 - 18th July) which will give everyone an ideal opportunity to have a look around.  Its role in the towns future remains to be seen as without people in it, it’s only a building.
